Description "Muhlenbergia reverchonii is a little-known but smaller and hardier North American native grass (Oklahoma and Texas) that's first cousin to the better-known Muhlenbergia capillaris. Muhlenbergia reverchonii 'Undaunted' forms a 24" tall x 30" wide clump topped, starting in mid-summer, with narrow plumes of ruby pink. Muhlenbergia 'Undaunted' is a particularly robust and showy seed strain from an original Ft. Worth, Texas, collection by Scott and Lauren Springer-Ogden, where it grows in very alkaline soils. As with most ornamental grasses, Muhlenbergia reverchonii 'Undaunted' is quite deer-resistant." -- Plant Delights
