Description

Will form stunning white pompoms atop single stems that will grow to 4' or more. The foliage is narrow and grass-like.

Cultivation

Xerophyllum asphodeloides is a rare plant with only a few native colonies left in the wild. It is extremely drought tolerant that can be used for xeri-scaping. It is found growing on northwest facing barrens, in poor sandy or gravelly soil, in open dry pine-lands, where most of its required moisture is provided only by overnight condensation.
